New nibs require some preparation before use:
Nibs are covered with a thin coat of protective laquer. Please use a pen holder to dip nib in boiling hot water for about 3 to 4 seconds and cool of in cold water afterwards. Alternatively, you can clean it with a dot of toothpaste and a soft cloth.
